Lesley has been chair of the Edinburgh IoD branch since 2008. She has worked in public relations consultancy in Scotland for almost over 15 years and joined Weber Shandwick, the world’s leading PR consultancy, in 2000. Based in central Edinburgh, she is now Deputy MD of the company’s Scottish operation which covers a number of disciplines including public relations, design and public affairs. Lesley specialises in public sector, corporate, transport and community issues, as well as crisis management.
She is also Vice Chairman of the Scottish Public Relations Consultants Association Scotland (SPRCA) and a volunteer for the Glasgow Simon Community.

Cameron was appointed chair of the Aberdeen IoD branch in July 2010, after four years as deputy chair. He has worked and innovated in risk management for 34 years, helping to transform the subject into a core strategic discipline. Originally in technical safety and major accident prevention, for the past two decades he has used competences in project, programme and business risk to help grow and develop people, teams and organisations in the oil & gas, energy, chemicals, utilities, food, transport and government agency sectors. He now works from a home office in Aberdeen as an independent practitioner delivering a wide spectrum of risk management services, linking together situation awareness, strategy, risk management, decision making and governance, all to improve organisational performance.
Cameron also serves on the local branch committee of the Energy Institute and on the steering group for the local Institute of Risk Management branch. He is a volunteer mentor with the Association for Project Management.
