IoD Scotland, in association with Reform Scotland, is hosting a major debate on the question of Scotland’s Economic Future. The event is being sponsored by Balmule House and Equilibrium Travel Management both based in Dunfermline, Fife.
The keynote speaker will be Ben Thomson, Chairman of Reform Scotland. Ben Thomson has been an investment banker for 25 years, starting his career at Kleinwort Benson and moving to Noble Group in 1990, where he became Chief Executive in 1997 and Chairman from 2007 until 2010.
The IoD Scotland, in association with Reform Scotland, invites you to attend a major debate on the question of ‘Scotland’s Economic Future’.
This event will take place on Wednesday 29th February 2012 at Balmule House, Dunfermline, Fife.

David will outline the options in the run-up to the referendum and what they mean for Scottish businesses and the economy- Independence, Devolution Max, Devolution Plus, Scotland Bill
12.20-12.40- Ben Thomson Chairman- Devo Plus- how will it benefit Scotland?
Ben will explain what Devo Plus means and how it will benefit Scotland and the Scottish Economy

Reform Scotland is a public policy institute or ‘think tank’ which was established as a separate Scottish charity, completely independent of any political party or any other organisation and is funded by donations from individuals, charitable trusts and corporate organisations. It publishes reports and holds public events with the aim of setting out policies and stimulating debate on how to deliver increased economic prosperity and more effective public services based on the traditional Scottish principles of limited government, diversity and personal responsibility.
